Jazz Matters Digs Forgotten Treasures

About four years ago, I embarked on a mission to digitize my music collection, and let me tell you, it's been quite the journey. Why the digital shift, you ask? Well, for starters, it allows me to organize, catalogue, and cross-reference my music seamlessly. Taking up far less space, (But I will keep the albums close to my heart) No more endless searches for that elusive album, only to stumble upon forgotten gems in the process.

This endeavour has turned into a labour of love – a slow and meticulous process, but oh-so-satisfying. There's a joy in rediscovering old favourites that haven't graced my ears in years. The nostalgia is real.

During this digital odyssey, I spent around three years discussing my project with my artist cousin. In one of our conversations, she dropped the phrase 'Forgotten Treasures'. Fast forward to 2023, and as I pondered the idea of a new music platform, those words echoed in my mind. Thus, the concept of 'Forgotten Treasures' was born.

So, here's the plan: I'm aiming to curate and share a 'Forgotten Treasures' selection with you once a month. Join me on this musical journey as we unearth hidden gems, revive memories, and explore the magic of music that deserves a second (or third) chance to shine. Stay tuned for the monthly dose of my musical nostalgia!
